ATTENDANCE DO'S AND DON'TS

DO send your child to school on a daily basis. Regular attendance is a vital part of your child's success in school. Try to schedule doctor and dental appointments for after school on miminum days. When they aren't in school, they are missing out on learning fun and exciting new skills, lessons, and learning opportunities.

DO make sure your child arrives on time. Every moment in school is important.

DO call the school when your child is too sick to attend school and send a note when they return. It's important that we know where each of our students are. We care about them!

DO check with the teacher to get the classwork and homework your child missed while they were on the mend. They still need to learn the concepts our hard-working teachers taught. Work with the teacher to help your child get caught up again.

DON'T send your child to school when they are running a fever or have a contagious illness such as strep throat or pink eye.
