Arrival:
The gates will open at 8:30am and school will start at 9:00am. TK/Kinder students enter the small gate next to the Front Office. 1st-5th Graders enter the large gate in front of the school. Breakfast is free and will be served between 8:30-9:00 in our school cafeteria. Parents/families are welcome to walk their students on campus for the first day of school. Teachers will be holding signs with their names and room numbers to help identify themselves starting at 9:00. Lines will also be chalked on the blacktop showing students where to line up. We will have lots of staff directing students on where to find their classroom and their teacher. Once students are walked to the classroom at 9:00, we ask all parents to exit through the gate they entered. No visitors will be allowed in the classrooms on the first day.
Dismissal:
At the end of the day, teachers will be standing outside the school with their name and room number to help find your child. Our parking lot is closed from 3:10-3:30pm due to student pick up. TK/Kinder families will need to park and pick up from the TK/Kinder playground. 1st and 2nd Grade families will need to park and pick up in front of the school where teachers will be holding signs with their name and room number. 3rd-5th Grade students will be dismissed at the back gate located on the south side of the campus in the large parking lot. Teachers will stay with students in 3rd-5th Grade until arrangements are made for pick up locations with their parents/guardians.
